Mr Bhardwaj,

Please define what you want in your 224 camera system. Are they analogue or IP?

we are providing a new ip cam "nano cam".wifi cam
The IP Camera is designed with the “user-friendly” idea deep in mind. The user can install the IP Camera easily on his/her home network and then access the IP Camera anywhere in the world through the accompanied video management software - CamView program without setting some complicated DNS name or changing the router’s settings. It’s just a plug & play action.
With 3GPP/ISMA support, users can see the video of the IP camera on any 3G mobile phone anywhere, anytime. The big difference is that there is software for downloading to the mobile phone so that the fixed IP address is not needed for the IP camera. The video settings including frame rate, resolution and bandwidth could be different for PC monitoring and mobile viewing.
Public IP address needed ? No
Dynamic DNS needed ? No
Port mapping in router? No
Virtual server in router ? No
UPnP support in router ? No
What’s needed ? ID and Password

I have been hearing a lot of camera side analytics these days. What has been the experience of people in this group? Are you seeing a lot of camera side analytics requirements coming up? What kind of applications usually ask for this?

Ever thought of defining your surveillance, security, operational requirements? What is the level of availability required, how much information need to be recorded, for how long do you want to keep the record them. Do you need backup recording? What is your network like? Is this a single building or is it a campus type with multiple buildings? Provide more information to better understand your requirement and you get better suggestions for solutions. If you are the end user get a consultant. If you are an integrator talk to your suppliers, they have a better grasp of what their products can do.

Hi Bharadwaj

If you are just looking for a Console Design then you could look in to the website of http://www.winsted.com who are pioneers in supplying Security Consoles all over the World.

If you are looking for a solution using 16 Channel DVR units then you could go with any 16 Channel embedded DVR all connected to the Network. You could control them using one Single Keyboard connected to the DVR units using RS-485 connections and you could view them using CMS software. The CMS software can provide you with a view of 64 cameras in a single screen. You will require 4 PCs to view all the 224 Cameras.

Alternatively, you can have 14 PC Monitors, each of them connected to one DVR unit so that you could view 16 camera images of the particular DVR in a monitor and all of them could be viewed real time.

If you require us to provide you with the complete solution then please contact me at rajan@imgvision.com and I will be able to provide you with the total solution for your reference and understanding.

Thanks and Regards
