TODAY WE ALWAYS DO COMMITMENT TO OUR CUSTOMER BEFORE TAKE THE ORDER, THAT WE CAN INTEGRATE YOUR CCTV SYSTEM, PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM, BMS SYSTEM ETC WITH OUR ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM. BUT SOMEHOW OUR INTEGRATION FAILS. CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME, WHAT ARE PARAMETERS SHOULD BE TAKEN CARE WHILE DOING THE COMMITMENT FOR INTEGRATION SERVICES.
ANY ONE CAN CLOSE OR OPEN THE DOOR BY USING CARD. IF THE INTEGRATION IS NOT POSSIBLE WITH OTHER SYSTEM, THEN THERE IS NO NEED TO GET THE HIGHLY PRICED ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM. I DON'T WANT TO SHARE THE COMPANY NAME.
You need to define functional requirements (how the integration will address the user's operational need), interface requirements (how each system should interact), the reason the integration is needed, and standards that need to be met. Then you could set boundaries on who is doing what and their responsibilities. Even if you are providing all the systems to be integrated, you still need to define functional and interface requirements.
