How do you determine the storage and bandwidth requirements for analog cameras encoded to IP?

We use the same parameters used for IP cameras that is, what settings you choose on the encoder for codec, resolution, frame rate, quality, etc.

Yes, HD analog is less. Which challenges the "compressed" video files for IP, which is a selling point of IP.

i have a question that we have to mount a PTZ IP camera on a gantery tower through which 400kv is running.gantery tower is used for high power transmission line but there is no current on the tower but induction is present on the tower within the range of 3mtr from the transmission line.what will be the problem if we mount , what will be the solution for that.we have to mount camera at 20 mtr hight

Perhaps, the way technology goes it may be a price-point today however that window seems to have a short life span. Then we'll get into the on going battle of HD Analog vs IP. Where in truth the actual file size of HD Analog will challenge storage issues.
